Principal's Message

Dear Trail Blazer Families,

I am excited to be the Principal for the LESD Digital Learning Academy.   Prior to joining the Trail Blazer family, I served as Assistant Principal at Verrado Middle School, an Instructional Coach, a Middle School Student Advisor and a teacher in multiple grades.

This year our focus will be on continuing the high academic standards our district is known for and building a strong school family in innovative ways. My personal goal for this year will be strengthening relationships with staff, students, families, and the community. Our staff has high expectations for all students and we value the partnership we have with our families and the significant contributions you make to your child’s success in school.  Being an online school brings inventive ways of doing things and we look forward to working collaboratively with our families for the success of our students.  

It is my deep honor to lead our school family in the inaugural year of the Digital Learning Academy, and I am committed to working in partnership with our staff, families and community to ensure a productive and engaging learning environment.  Thank you for choosing the Digital Learning Academy.
